Post a Listing

  1. Open @sgroomrent_bot and tap Start.
  2. Tap "📝 Post a Listing", or send /post.
  3. Answer each question: property type, district, address, MRT, rent, rooms, furnishing, description, contact, then up to 5 photos.
  4. Check the summary and confirm. Send /cancel at any time to stop.
  5. After a quick review, your listing goes live on the website and the Telegram channel.

Browse listings

  1. In the bot, send /search followed by a district number or area, e.g. /search 15 or /search Tampines.
  2. Tap "🌐 Browse Listings" in the bot to open the full website with filters and a map.
  3. Or simply scroll the channel — every approved listing is posted there.

Join the channel

  1. Tap Join @SGRoom_Rent, or "📢 Join Channel" in the bot.
  2. Turn on notifications for the channel so you see new rooms the moment they are posted.

Getting started

What is SGRoomRent?+
A Singapore room rental platform. Landlords post rooms, condos and whole units; tenants browse, save listings and contact landlords directly. The website and our Telegram channel stay in sync automatically.
Do I need an account?+
No account is needed to browse. Sign up to save listings, set alerts, post on the website or post a wanted ad. Sign up/Sign in
Is it free?+
Browsing, posting a listing and joining the channel are free.

For tenants

How do I find a room?+
Go to All Listings and filter by district, price and property type. Each listing page shows nearby MRT stations, bus stops, schools and food.
How do I contact a landlord?+
Open the listing and use the WhatsApp or Telegram button to message the landlord directly.
How do I get notified of new listings?+
Join the Telegram channel, or set up alerts in My Account → Alerts to get matching listings by email, Telegram or WhatsApp.
I can't find what I need. What can I do?+
Sign in as a tenant and post a wanted ad from My Account. Landlords browse the Wanted tab and can reach out to you.

For landlords

How do I post a listing?+
On the website, sign in and use Post a Listing. On Telegram, message @sgroomrent_bot and send /post (see the steps above). Either way, it appears on both the website and the channel.
How long until my listing is live?+
Listings are reviewed and approved within minutes.
How do I edit or mark a listing as rented?+
On the website, go to My Account → My Listings. On Telegram, send /mylistings, or /rented followed by the listing ID. The channel post is updated automatically.
How do I get the verified landlord badge?+
Verify with Singpass (or upload ID documents instead). Verified landlords get a badge on their listings that tenants trust.

Telegram

How do I link my Telegram to my website account?+
Go to My Account → Alerts and tap the Telegram link button. The bot will confirm once your accounts are connected, and alerts will arrive in Telegram.
